Our Print

What makes us unique and vibrant?

Our signature print has an African aesthetic twist to it. The print is a combination of African symbols that represent aphorisms of its cultures and beliefs. The symbols have a decorative function but also represent objects that encapsulate evocative messages that convey traditional wisdom, aspects of life, or the environment. We have added this culture to our fashion shoes, clothing and fashion accessories. The print is uniquely trademarked to Footwox Collections and we reserve the right to ownership.

There are 6 main Adinkra symbols that makes us unique.
Gye Nyame: means “Except God.” It expresses the omnipotence and supremacy of God in all affairs. This reminds you to always put God first in everything you do.

Dwennimmen: means “the horns of a ram.” It represents strength (in mind, body, and soul), humility, wisdom, and learning. It symbolizes that even the strong have to also be humble, for to be strong but humble is wisdom.

Akoma: means “heart,” and it is a symbol of love, goodwill, patience, faithfulness, fondness, endurance, and consistency.

Mmere Dane: meaning “times change.” It is a symbol for the temporariness of good times. Spend it wisely.

Osram ne Nsoromma: this symbol signifies love, bonding, faithfulness, harmony, love, and loyalty in every relationship.

Sankofa: meaning “to retrieve" (literally "go back and get"; san - to return; ko - to go; fa - to fetch, to seek and take). This means Go back and get it. A symbol of the wisdom of learning from the past to build your future.
